Soulmuzik is A dedicated mixed-media collage piece created to represent the feeling of flow & tranquility in one’s musical craft. This project borrows a lot of its visual inspiration from 60s-90s black musician photography (Marvin Gaye, Jimi Hendrix, etc.)

I tried to visually create the feeling + rhythm of the focus, passion, and flow of listening and creating music while retaining my visual style. To visually show the feel of one making soul music; something from another universe translated into ours.

Music can be made with anything. Soul music (soulmuzik), an artistic expression of life through music isn’t curated with the instruments or boards. It’s curated through love, passion, and feeling.

Music is the soul expressed through sound. Listen with your heart first and ears second, see how the universe shifts around it.
