About Kobi McCray
Kobi McCray is a 22-year-old creative director + photographer operating in Richmond, Virginia.
Welcome! The name is Kobi; a multidisciplinary creative & entrepeuner from Newport News, VA. My jobs of passion include Marketing Assistant for VCU’s Diversity P.A.T.H.S program, a senior lead photographer at Ink Magazine and a photographer for the award-winning Commonwealth Times. Currently, I'm honing my skills in Mass Communications with a concentration in Creative Advertising at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU).
My journey with photography began in 2021, when I first picked up a camera as a tool to express myself and capture the world around me. Since then, I've been relentlessly pursuing excellence, using my developed skills to tell compelling stories through my lens. Photography for me is more than a profession—it’s a daily obsession to create art that not only speaks but lasts forever.
In addition to my photographic endeavors, I've also embraced the role of a marketing assistant for VCU's Diversity PATHS program. This position has enriched my experience and expanded my capabilities, blending creative expression with strategic communication.
I am dedicated to crafting timeless projects that inspire. I create work to live on indefinitely, reflecting a narrative that's as diverse and dynamic as my background.
Let's connect and create something unforgettable.
